Angelica sylvestris Purpurea makes a striking feature in any flower border with its deep purple foliage and umbels of pale pink flowers.
Also known as 'Vicar's Mead', this purple form of the native British herb flowers during late summer and into autumn. It is adored by pollinators for its nectar and pollen rich flowers, provides seed for birds and is brilliant for cutting.
Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
