With its vigorous habit and lightly scented, colourful blooms Hydrangea paniculata ‘Vanille Fraise’ will make a wonderful addition to any type of garden and unpruned may reach a height of up to 2m (6.5ft). With a light pruning in autumn or early spring these shrubs can be encourage to keep a more compact shape suitable for smaller gardens and large containers.
