Often seen tumbling over walls in the spring. A colourful, mat-forming, evergreen perennial which offers brilliant ground cover in a sunny location.

Early/Late Flowering:
Indoor growing instructions In trays of seed compost, sow thinly, do not cover seed with compost. Firm gently, keep moist and cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 18°C. Germination takes 21-35 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear and when large enough transplant 5cm apart to further trays or pots of compost. Acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures and transplant 25cm apart in flowering position from September to October. Keep moist and weed free. Flowers March to June, the following year.
Outdoor growing instructions In a prepared seed bed, sow thinly in rows 20cm apart and cover with a fine layer of soil. Firm gently and keep moist. When large enough thin to 7.5cm apart. Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position from September to October. Flowers March to June, the following year.
Tip Cut back after flowering to keep plants compact.
