Hydrangea macrophylla French Bolero Blue Shrub Plants

Hydrangea Bolero, with large and wonderfully glamorous flower heads displaying along its leafy stems, creating a fuller effect than usual, as Hydrangeas most often just flower at the ends. Raised in rich ericaceous compost to develop its gorgeous blue colour, a regular application of hydrangea colourant from Woolman's will bring out the best blue tones. With a densely spreading bushy habit and flowering from early to late summer, this rewarding shrub loves a sunny or lightly shaded position and makes a fabulous display in patio pots or mixed borders. If left unpruned it will still only grow to approx. 120cm (4'), making it a great choice for smaller gardens. In autumn the leaves turn a beautiful burnt orange colour, further adding to it's long season of interest.
