Early/Late Flowering:
Indoor growing instructions In trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost and cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15°C. Germination takes 21-28 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant singly to 7.5cm pots. Acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures before transplanting 60cm apart in flowering position from late summer onwards. Flowers May to July, the following year.
Outdoor growing instructions In a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart and cover with a fine layer of soil. Keep moist. Transplant 60cm apart in final flowering position from September to October. Keep moist and weed free. Flowers May to July, the following year.
Tip Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing.
