Lavender Hidcote Blue
A dwarf evergreen shrub with aromatic, deep violet-purple flower spikes and silvery-grey foliage. Brilliant planted along path edges, in containers or as a low hedge. Flowers can be used as a flavouring and 'crystallised' for decoration.

Early/Late Flowering:
Indoor growing instructions In trays of seed compost. Sow thinly and cover lightly with compost. Firm gently, keep moist and cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. [email protected];C. Germination takes 21-49 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear and transplant individually into 7.5cm pots of compost. Acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures from June onwards before transplanting 30cm apart in final flowering position in autumn. Keep moist and weed free. Flowers July to September, the following year.
Tip Trim plants back to shape after flowering.
