Indoor growing instructions In trays of seed compost. Sow thinly and cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently, keep moist and cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15°C. Germination takes 21-28 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear and transplant individually into 7.5cm pots of compost. Acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures from June onwards before transplanting 60cm apart in final flowering position. Flowers June to August, the following year.
Outdoor growing instructions In a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart and cover with a fine layer of soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Transplant 60cm apart in final flowering position from September to October. Flowers June to August, the following year.
