Indoor growing instructions In trays or pots of moist compost. Sow thinly and cover with a fine layer of compost and cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-18°C. Germination takes 21-42 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear and transplant singly into 7.5cm pots. Acclimatise plants to outdoor temperatures from late May before transplanting 35cm apart in final flowering position.

Tip Protect seedlings and young plants from slugs. Remove faded flower spikes to encourage further flowering.
