Lovely in wildflower meadows, this perennial herb was naturalised in Britain in the 16th century and is now used in salads – the young leaves have a fresh, cucumber-like flavour. The flowers are a magnet for pollinators.
The Wildflower Garden
Wonderful for attracting pollinating insects into the garden. These beautiful wildflowers are bright and colourful and so easy to grow. Naturally self-seeding, they’ll provide colour for many years.
Our young plants are some of the most choice seed and cutting raised varieties, these are raised in large plug cells which are from 3-5cm in diameter. They are very strong, are well-rooted and robust and measure up to 12cm in height when supplied. Where necessary, these plants have been pinched to encourage strong and bushy growth, so are ready for planting directly into hanging baskets or containers. For plants intended for open ground, we would recommend potting on.
