Don’t be misled by the delicate appearance of the deeply cut, cornflower-blue flowers with mauve centre, as these plants are very tough and resilient. The flowers appear from late spring and through the summer, attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. A delightful addition to the border, it also works well in a naturalised setting.
