Tall and elegant with stately spires of flowers, delphiniums are a timeless cottage garden favourite. Full of colour and very effectively used at the back of the border, plants from the Aurora and Guardian series are some of the best we have seen, rivalling, and even surpassing more expensive cutting raised varieties.
Strong, sturdy, and very free flowering, the spikes are packed with large, semi-double flowers which are brilliant for cutting. Grow in rich, fertile, and well-drained soil.
